So far...

we are enjoying all that summer has to offer!!

Loving that we have a backyard and can put up a pool!

Learning to ride her bike without training wheels.
We're still working on it!

Saving a baby bird in the window well...
(pictured is our neighbor who was brave enough to climb in with my kitchen gloves so it wouldn't peck him!)
and then chasing it into a bush!  See him in the upper left corner, trying to get away.

These deer visited us last Sunday morning. Perfect timing!  I was able to get ready for church in peace because the kids sat and silently watched them from the back door for at least half an hour!

 Happy Boy!

Memorial day weekend my sister and her family came to visit.  We had a blast!  Sadly this is my only picture (cause it was on my camera). She was letting me play with her awesome camera all weekend, and I had them all copied to my computer that completely died 2 days later before I could back them up.  I loved her camera...now I'm saving for one for me!!

About the picture, that boy was loving the grass.  He kept fingering through it and didn't want much to do with anything else!

Here is my baby in the bumbo my mom got for him!!  He's enjoyed being able to sit!

Eating solids for the first time....
 Not so sure about this!!
 Not at all!
We're liking it better now!!  He even has to help!

And...we finally have a garden!!  Good thing we have lots of space for one!
It's been growing pretty good.  We planted peas, corn, green beans, strawberries, radishes, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, cucumber, and pumpkins.  We'll see how it goes!  Can't wait to eat some!

I just love summer!!  Even more now that my girl is in school.  Love spending more time with her, love sleeping in, love the beautiful weather!
